Mahnaz Afkhami is among 14 nominees shortlisted for the  2015 Trust Women Hero Award. She was selected from 400 nominees–representing 78 countries–submitted by the public.The winner will be announced at the Trust Women Conference in London on November 17, 2015. “The Trust Women Awards honour exceptional individuals who have raised awareness and provided real solutions to the challenges faced by women worldwide. The Trust Women Hero Award celebrates an innovator whose bold thinking and high-impact work has helped women defend and advance their rights. “
